A manual or electric pallet truck is a means of warehouse transport that allows for loading and unloading work in warehouses, production halls, shopping centers, or workshops. The common name of this truck is a pallet truck or a dog truck. This truck can be used to transport various goods, but it is mainly intended for lifting, carrying, and putting away pallets with goods. Depending on the size of the pallet and the method of its collection, the pallet truck may have forks with a length of: 800, 1000 or 1150 mm.
The choice of the truck depends on the customer's needs, the weight of the goods that will be transported with it, the frequency of its use, the funds available that we can spend on the purchase. The key parameter is the weight of the pallets together with the load that will be transported. The standard lifting capacities of pallet trucks are 2200, 2500, 3500 kg. Pallet trucks with different maximum lifting heights, fork lengths and widths, with different fork spacing, manual and electric, with different engine power, with different battery charging times, with different lifting speeds, with different numbers of movements to achieve full lifting, with wheels made of different materials are available on the market.
